Mission Statement: The Stewardship Foundation provides financial and social help to orphaned and foster care adolescents who desire to attend college. Without a family to care for them, kids in foster care start to age out of the system, whether voluntarily or reluctantly, at age 18. Forced to go in and out of schools and homes for years, many of these students struggle to end high school and do not see college as an manageable goal. We intend to make receiving a college education a reality for these childish minds by providing the financial help looked-for for tuition and living expenses. We will also help them by serving as a store for general needs such as clothing and counseling, as well as assisting with summer internship and job placement.
