Much of the content deals with how to better grasp what the Law School Admissions Council wants you to see in the questions it asks. This video deals with studying for the LSAT on a budget. From my experience with other LSAT takers, the Testmasters program seems to produce overall better improvement than Princeton Review or Kaplan.
taking a course in what?
Typically a significant improvement in score is achieved by 1. 120 or more hours of study and 2. A thorough review of the questions gotten wrong with an understanding of the mistakes.
Typically, this is done within a period of 10 weeks of study. I do recommend taking a course if possible as a good way to track progress.
