LSAT PREP ADVICE – READING COMPREHENSION PART 2

This is a multi-part series helping students prepare for the LSAT. Tips and tricks are offered by student Jaime Sherman as he learned how to effectively work the LSAT from scratch. This is a unique approach that offers specific advice as to how to better attack LSAT problems and how to overcome the fear of not being able to complete the 35 minute sections on time. Much of the content deals with how to better grasp what the Law School Admissions Council wants you to see in the questions it asks. This video deals with the Reading Comprehension sections.     why the hell you wanna mix the tips of LR with RC It doesn’t make sense? Talk about RC, RC, RC and only RC

    The best way to cut them down to size is to know the typical answers. The better you are at knowing what to expect, the easier it will be to pick out the important parts.

    If you feel frustrated, take a practice and look all the answers first. Highlight the answers for each question in the passage. Look at the language that surrounds your highlighted answers.

    Analyze what was important and how the questions were raised.

    Hey Jaime, I am taking the LSAT on December 4th. The Reading Comprehension drives me crazy. I feel pretty stupid since my major in college was English, and this is my worst section. The legal passages kill me in particular, surprisingly though the Science passages I find to be the easiest ones. Any advice for how I can improve? I’m off to take yet another practice test
